Co-op instead of everyone for themselves
In games like Overcooked 2, Deep Rock Galactic or Lethal Company nobody wins alone. You have to divide tasks, communicate out loud and coordinate under time pressure. These are precisely the situations that reveal who takes on which role in the team – with no personality test required.
Mixed teams beat lone experts
We deliberately mix the teams: seasoned gamers next to people who last played 15 years ago. In party games like Mario Kart or Pummel Party experience barely helps – that takes the pressure off and makes sure everyone joins in instead of watching.
A tournament with a clear start and end
